For 2016, Superfly looked to direct its outreach to a Seametrey Chidrens Village – a wonderful school in Cambodia lead by Muoy to provide a dream education to those left behind by the mainstream system. Through working with Givingweek.sg in Singapore, Superfly raised money by holding a series of workshops with all proceeds going to the school. Supefly donated over $1000 Singapore dollars, with just under $200 coming from the workshops.

Inspire Tour Japan 2015

In Jan 2015, Derrick joined Inspire tour Japan lead by Daniel ilabaca and his family – its aim to spread the love of movement and community with parkour communities around the beautiful country of Japan. Check this video by one the participants – Michael Hartwig to learn more about the wonderful work the Inspire team do throughout the world. Michael now also organises the Inspire tours in the USA.

Playground Build Gawad Kalinga Manila – TCRP

Superfly Monkey Dragons Community Outreach Program kicks off with participating on The Chain Reaction Project‘s Manila Bike and Build. Derrick joined 20 plus other participants to travel to Manila and help Gawad Kalinga build a playground for one of the communities there. It was a great chance to see first hand the conditions and situations many displaced families live in, and also an eye opener on what more we can do to help communities like this.

Superfly hopes to be able to support and help more communities in need in the future.
